• handle invalid or incomplete input provided with API queries that use filter expressions (see Format of the variable matching rule)
• fixed bug that prevented startup of the secondary server if it was configured to use persistent database (i.e. not in-memory hsql database) because it could not create AreaModel object with the id passed from the primary server
